Allez Eddy, the bitter sweet comedy by scriptwriter/director Gert Embrechts, will open in Belgium on 28th March.
11 years old Freddy neglects his fathers will by registering for the cycle race, because he is determined to win: the award is a meeting with his cycle idol, the famous Eddy Merckxs. These are the seventies, when the arrival of a supermarket causes a shock in the little rural Flemish village, where Freddy and his family live.
