Development
In 1955 Linda was born in The Hague from where she immediately moved to live in far away countries. Despite a disrooted youth on many posts, she finished a classical grammar-school in the melting furnace village of IJmuiden. She studied Art History and worked at the then illustrious Shaffy Theatre. As a result after 6 years of study, she decided to quit her studies for a great job at the theatre: programming.
After an interlude as a theatre agent for young performers she got a job at VPRO TV, where Burny Bos just had started a children's department. It was her job to acquire and adapt foreign children's programmes.
When Burny left VPRO in order to start his own company, she decided to choose for a future with him. BosBros would take care of AVRO's youth programmes and Linda would do the acquisitions.
Within BosBros Linda has developed as a reader of screenplays (which she also has done for the Dutch Film Fund) and introducer of new titles. Anyone who presents his project to BosBros for realization, usually deals with Linda.
