At the 50th edition of The International Children's Film Festival at Zlin in The Czech Republic, The Indian (director Ineke Houtman, screenplay Nynke Klompmaker) was awarded two prizes!

Weekly broadcasts start on 3rd January 2010 at 20.20 o clock on Nederland 2.
The week before, on 25th December 2009 at 11pm on Ned 2 a 50 minutes special will introduce the series.

On 19th May, just before Annie M.G. Schmidt's birthday, Warner Home Video will release the dramaseries ANNIE M.G. in an exclusive 5DVDbox. Besides all seven episodes, it contains many extra's like each episodes makinf ofs, the famous Ischa Meijer interview with Annie M.G. Schmidt and the possibility to play all 42 songs from the series seperately.
