Hijos de la Mar relates about a small Spanish fishing village. The Sea is their companion. They worship Mother Sea. All fathers and sons work in the fishing trade. Some sign up on ships earning wages in Argentina, Uruguay, Holland. Traveling their path made of waves. Others stay. Night after night, you hear the splashing of their nets. Navigating is science to them, but life is not. Unexpectedly the Oil tanker Prestige spills its oil in their Sea. The sailors, who never complain about the cold; who work for their children, encounter a disaster. Their children's future is severely damaged.
