Joyce and Mira are outcasts and 11 years old. It is 1991; their parents and other adults around them are mainly absorbed by their own life and their (sexual) choices. Joyce and Mira find eachother in their necessity to create their own happiness and to make their dream come true: to perform at the Mini-Playback Show on TV. An arthouse comedy about friendship and growing up, that will show to both teenagers and fiftyagers something of themselves that is shocking, but -more often- quite hilaric. *Fromedy = a 'romantic' comedy leading to friendship instead of love. Screenplay: Anne Barnhoorn and Lotte Tabbers Director: Tallulah Schwab
