Children of Waterland is a drama about small happenings in the lives of five children from Waterland. All of the main characters are played by six and seven year old children, who are classmates in a small village somewhere in the polder.
Every episode starts when school finishes and the children are on their way home. Everytime they experience different adventures. The kids are in a nice way stubborn and they try to solve their own problems. The grown ups always think they know things bette, but is that always true?
