Heinz and his pals have appeared for some 25 years in the daily comic strips of several Dutch newspapers. Their creators are Eddy de Jong and René Windig.
Fan and animator Piet Kroon has made a script based on these comic strips and by directing this movie an old dream will come true.
In this road-movie, Heinz, not known for responsable behaviour, will deeply get into trouble when he finds out that he can't find his baby anymore. Little Beaver is the baby that Heinz and his girlfriend Dolly got. Very like in the comic strips, his search will lead to hilaric situations and encounters with the colourful collection of Heinz' friends and acquaintances.
Director Piet Kroon lives and works in the US. He has a long experience of working on many animated movies in different functions, like writer, director, producer, artist. For instance Shrek 2, Despicable Me, Tale of Despereaux, The Iron Giant, RIO, Arthus Christmas and Osmosis Jones (director).
