"Allez, Eddy!" is a heartwarming bittersweet comedy about eleven years old talented racing cyclist Freddy, the butcher's son in a idyllic village in nowhereland.
His isolated easy life is completely turned over when the first supermarket opens its doors in the village. As an opening event this supermarket organizes a cycling race with a meet & greet with Eddy Merckx for the winner.
Freddy's father, André the butcher, is ardently opposed to the supermarkets presence and wants to have none of it, so Freddy registers in secret for the match.
By joining in the race, a new world opens, not only to Freddy, but to all the people around him.
