The Residents of guesthouse Klivia stand under the inspiring leadership of Nurse Klivia at bay against nexst-door neighbour Boordevol. He collects for ages evidence to get rid off the Guest hous and its residents. After the umpeenth explosion of an failed invention of one of the residents, the engineer, neighbour Boordevol finds another reason to sue the residentsin order to evict them from the Guest-house. But again the inhabatans outwit the neighbour Boordevol. When the peace somhow seems to be settled in again a new tenant is announced: Gerrit. Although he was a burglar in a former life, Nurse Klivia allows him to stay in the rest house . When it appears that there has been a burglary at the house of Neighbour Boordevol The sentiment against Gerrit is reversed: the inhabatant's suspision aims at Gerrit an the Guest house becomes stirred up. Cleverly Neighbour Boordevol takes advantage of the situation and at last he achieves the evictuin if the Residents house. The situation evolves worse when there upon Gerrit appears to be innocent but Nurs Klivia herself is accused of the burglary. By an unexpected development neighbour Boordevol gets repented by which the situation at last is changed in favour of Nurse Klivia the Rest house and the other residents.
